Exams and Appointments
During the Coronavirus

We have increased the time allotted for each appointment so that we can limit the traffic within our hospital and have time to adequately clean between appointments. Unfortunately, this means that we can see fewer routine appointments during each day. Please consider booking any non-urgent appointments 2 or more weeks out if possible.

We will perform all examinations and procedures in our treatment room away from owners to limit contact between people. A staff member can meet you in the lobby to check-in your pet, or you can call when you arrive, and we will be glad to pick your pet up at the car to further limit your exposure. We are happy to take the history by phone and discuss treatment options in the same manner. You are more than welcome to wait during your pet’s appointment or schedule a drop off appointment and pick your animal up later in the day.

If you do elect to come into the lobby, please limit the number of people coming into the minimum number required (no more than one person per animal).

Routine surgeries and dental cleanings are still being scheduled and performed as usual. These procedures are done on a drop-off basis normally and pose little risk of increased exposure.

We will continue to provide same-day appointments for sick or injured animals, and we always have a doctor on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies. Please never hesitate to call us.

To further minimize contact between people, we are handling everything that we can over the phone or by mail.

If you have a general question or are in quarantine and are concerned about your pet, we are more than willing to discuss and develop a plan by phone.
